In 2015, I started developing my graphic design style by taking inspiration from underground (music) artists such as yung lean and bladee.
This I used in conjunction with an interest in the aesthetics of classic sci-fi movies such as Alien, Blade Runner and The Matrix. Throughout my education I learned about the various art movements throughout history and it’s philosophies which I like to take incorporate in my works as well.
As I started my education in IT & Media design, I soon learned that designing products isn’t just about making it look pretty. I am designing a product that solves problems, that helps a user navigate a digital environment as frictionless as possible.
This change in mindset enabled me to approach my work with a user-centered approach first and think about how to use my creativity for a cool looking design second.
In my time outside school I do a lot of freelance work consisting out of: graphic design, image manipulation and compositions. More recently, I have been doing work regarding 3D character design and I have started taking on web design projects through my own network.
