MY STORY
Background
Born and raised in Venlo, NL. I enjoyed a Waldorf elementary and high school education, which emphasized artistic and practical skills. It helped develop my creativity by cultivating my imagination, which I can still reap the benefits of until this day.
After completing high school, I spend a gap year in Romania, where I worked as a QA tester for an award-winning game franchise. Besides this, I used this period to reflect on what career direction would suit me
Present Day
Currently, I find myself in the penultimate semester of my bachelor's IT & Media Design, based at Fontys in Eindhoven. Many specialization routes were possible within this bachelor's, out of which Media Design turned out to suit me the best.
This specialization allows me to make use of my creative skills, but it also keeps me in touch with the human side of IT. Understanding what the end-users really need from the product engages me endlessly and keeps me challenged to come up with appropriate solutions in terms of UI and UX design.
Future Vision
As a young professional, I have just started to pave the direction I want to walk in. Over the course of the next years, I aim to accumulate experience as a professional, which I eventually want to use to pursue an entrepreneurial career and as a result be in charge of my own exciting projects.
